The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO1 To teach the concepts of computer engineering theoretically with a focus on industry need topics. [POs: 1,2,3,4,5,9,and 12] [PSOs: 1 and 2]
PEO2 To conduct experiments to strengthen the understanding of the theoretical concepts so that the concepts can be used in solving real world problems.[POs: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 and 12] [PSOs: 1, 2 and 3]
PEO3 To collaborate with web based programming platforms and make the students to become members of the international pool of learners to become skilled programmers. [POs: 7,8,9,10 and 12] [PSOs: 2 and 3]
PEO4 To conduct problem solving lab sessions, in addition to the lab sessions prescribed by affiliating University, in which the students are motivated to think independently and come out with his own algorithms or computer programs for solving a given problem. [POs: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12] [PSOs: 1,2 and 3]

Program Specific Outcomes

PSO1 Foundation of Problem Solving Skills: Use mathematical abstractions and Algorithmic design along with open source programming tools to solve complexities involved in efficient programming.[PO:1,2,3,4 and 5] & [PEO:1 and 2]
PSO2 Foundation of Software development: Ensure programming & documentation skills for each indivi3dual student in relevant subjects i.e., C, C++, Java, DBMS, Web Technologies (Development), Linux, Data Warehousing & Data Mining and on Testing Tools.[PO:1,2,3,4,5,10 and 11]& [PEO:1,2, 3and 4]
PSO3 Foundation of Employability Skills: Ensure employability and career development skills through Industry oriented mini & major projects, internship, industry visits, seminars and workshops. [PO:6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12] & [PEO:1,2,3 and 4]

PO2 Problem analysis : Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences. [PEOs: 1and 4] [PSOs: 1,2 and 3]
PO3 Design development of solutions : Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations. PO4 Conduct investigations ofcomplex problems : Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions. [PEOs: 1 and 4] [PSOs: 1,2 and 3]
PO5 Modern tool usage : Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations. [PEOs: 2 and 4] [PSOs: 1,2 and 3]
PO6 The engineer andsociety : Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice. [PEOs:1 and 3][PSOs: 1,2 and 3]
PO7 Environment and sustainability : Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development. [PEOs: 3 and 4], [PSO:1]
