Objective : Introduces AutoCAD software as a design and drafting tool for architecture and interior design. AutoCAD design software is widely used in the Architectural Design and Drafting professions. Create, annotate, edit and plot drawings using basic AutoCAD commands and features. Computer Aided Design-CAD is defined the use of information technology (IT) in the Design process. A CAD system consists of IT hardware (H/W), specialized software (S/W) (depending on the particular area of application) and peripherals, which in certain applications are quite specialised. The CAD Lab engages the imagination of the scientist/engineer to explore a variety of aspects of technological design from assembly of a complicated mechanism to the simulation of a heart pumping. The Lab has top of the line current releases of commercial software for the Design Industry; primarily engineering and architecture. The predominant software used is the Autodesk suite.
