About Master of Computer Applications

Department of Computer Applications is started in the year 2006 in Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering. It is one of the departments of SCCE. Department of Computer Applications is offering three years Master of Computer Applications post graduate program affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. Every year our students are getting selected in the top MNC companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, IBM, CTS, TECH - MAHINDRA etc through campus recruitment.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a professional Master's Degree in Computer Application. It is designed to meet the increasing demand for professionals in the field of Information Technology. This program is inclined more towards Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications.
In this field candidates are eligible to enter as a land surveyor to chief engineer (survey). In private sectors also many opportunities in consultancy services in NRSA(National Remote Sensing Agency, Hyderabad), EPTRI(Environmental Professional Training and Research institute), the institute mainly working GIS Applications in various branches of engineering.Central Govt.depts like ISRO,BHEL,BARC,Survey of India etc.
Soil, Foundation and Geo Technical Engineering:

An MCA program curriculum builds right platform for students to become successful Software professional. This would emphasize on domain knowledge of various areas, which would help the students to build software applications on it. The students are exposed to system development in the information-processing environment, with special emphasis on Management Information Systems and Software Engineering for small and medium computer.
