About Electronics and Communications Engineering

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 2004. The department offers UG courses with an intake of 120 students respectively. The department has excellent infrastructures facilities, well equipped laboratories and experienced faculty. The main objective of the department, right from its inception, is to inculcate a sprite of scientific temper, analytical thinking and train the students in contemporary technologies in electronics and communication to meet the needs of the industry.

A team of dedicate, well qualified and experienced faculty runs the department with specialization in communications, signal processing, VLSI and embedded systems. Well equipped and established laboratories with software tools such as Multi-sim, Active HDL, MATLAB and 10Mbps Internet facility. Excellent communication lab with Spectrum analyser, digital storage oscilloscopes, high frequency function generators and Microwave Test benches. Department library with 746 volumes. Research work on Wireless Communications and Mobile Networks.
