Department of Master of Computer Applications is started in the year 2006 in Sree Chaitanya College of Engineering. It is one of the departments of SCCE. Department of Master of Computer Applications is offering two years post graduate program affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. Every year our students are getting selected in the top MNC companies like TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO, IBM, CTS, TECH - MAHINDRA etc through campus recruitment.
It is designed to meet the increasing demand for professionals in the field of Information Technology. This program is inclined more towards Application Development and thus has more emphasis on latest programming language and tools to develop better and faster applications.
The MCA program prepares students to take up positions as system analysts, systems designers, Programmers and managers in any field related to information technology. The program, therefore, aims at imparting comprehensive knowledge with equal emphasis on theory and practice. The MCA students are encouraged to spend a full semester working in the industry in the institute giving them insight into the workings of the IT world.
As today is an age of computers, a candidate with an MCA degree will have great job opportunities in top level IT companies and consultancy firms.
